Dr. Cameron Puls, DPT, OCS, CSCS, OMT is the Owner/ Founder of Performance Therapy Institute (PTI). The premise of the business is to remove the ROOT cause of pain, even if you have already tried EVERYTHING.
The primary goal of PTI is to FOREVER remove the fear and frustration that is holding you back from having a pain free lifestyle without the use of surgery, medications, or injections.
We serve motivated individuals who want to go through the journey of eliminating the root problem of their pain, not just a quick fix.
Cameron wanted to create a rehab model in which time and energy can be dedicated solely to 1-on-1 hour long sessions and communication that continues long after the session ends.
PTI’s priority is to provide the best possible service the clinician can offer to increase the chances of your getting back to what you love to do with LONG-TERM success without relying on medications or frequent visits to healthcare professionals.
Cameron graduated from Husson University with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology and a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy.
He then completed a 1-year mentorship at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, Massachusetts with a focus on Orthopedics and Sports Medicine followed by a 2-year manual therapy (hands-on therapy) fellowship in Woburn, Massachusetts at the Institute of Orthopeadic Manual Therapy.
Cameron is a board-certified orthopedic specialist (OCS), a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), and an orthopedic manual therapist (OMT).
Cameron is one of the co-organizers of the 1st professional special interest group (specifically in orthopedic manual therapy) Maine Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association, he has also helped instruct at Husson University in the PT program.
Most importantly, he has had, and still has, many great mentors and peers to learn from everyday. He acknowledges that he would not be where he is today without their expertise and ongoing support. You are not just getting care from one person when you come to PTI; you get access to Cameron’s network from across the world to add input into your case.
Cameron also has an interest in Esports (competitive videos games) as a hobby. He has started a service to work with Esport athletes in 2022 due to state of training and rehab currently available to gamers.
